IV. Looking Forward

Web Committee (Tourné): Website needs upgrade to facilitate online sales; back end needs cleanup for easier announcements and emails
Big Deep South (Wesly): John taking over position for 2024; all went well — 575 participants, made $22k in profit, best year yet

V. GNOSB Vice Chair — Alexa M.

Read June minutes with new chair; once new board is voted on and approved, all signers will go to bank to sign on the account

VI. GNOSB Treasurer — Ray Y.

Good month financially: $8k income, $5k in expenses; transfer from Big Deep South into checking ~$17k
$98k total checking, $24k in savings
New service board structure should work for having 3 eligible signers on Whitney account

VII. Central Office Updates — Ken

Central Office building sold to Ducar Contractors next door
Website needs rebuilding; gathering proposals now
Updating district meetings list
Email information on meeting reopening, calendar updates, and virtual conference information to office@aaneworleans.org

VIII. DAAY in the Park — Ken T. filling in

Scheduled for October 28, 10am–3pm at Bucktown Harbor Marina
Home groups encouraged to have a decorative table (voted on); costume contests for adults and children; food and beverages provided by Central Office
Planning committee meets 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6pm

Districts 21/23 (Will): District Unity event July 15 was a success — around 50 people, including brand new members. Neckbreakers 10th group anniversary: Aug 26, 6:30–9pm at 3025 Dauphine St.

X. T&C — Jeff

Appointed Scott B. as new T&C chair — Scott has been attending monthly T&C meetings and is active in T&C work; just need a permission slip to get Scott a key
Working on creating liaisons for facilities to make communication easier
