IV. Looking Forward

Web Committee (Tourné — report sent in): Will get with Ken this week to discuss website options
Big Deep South (Wesly filling in): Next meeting Wednesday, September 6, 6:30pm at Central Office, then first Wednesday of every month; anyone willing and able to help is welcome

V. GNOSB Vice Chair — Alexa M.

Board still not on bank account; need full board to sign at once; new secretary must be able to sign

VI. GNOSB Treasurer — Ray Y.

VII. Central Office Updates — Ken

Point of sale system being reconfigured; old one will sunset in October — moving to Clover, Shopify, or Square
Central Office hired Krista to work in the office; need volunteers who can learn the system to take card payments
Working on a formal lease with new landlord; currently month-to-month; optimistic about rent
Updating district meetings list, which will feed into meeting app
Email meeting reopening information, calendar updates, and virtual conference information to office@aaneworleans.org

VIII. DAAY in the Park — Don D. filling in

Scheduled for October 28, 10am–3pm at Bucktown Harbor Marina
Home groups encouraged to have a decorative table; costume contests for adults and children; bounce house for kids, balloon clown, food and beverages provided by Central Office
Motion to request $1,000 in additional funds for sides (beans, cole slaw, etc.), bringing overall budget to $2,000 — raised, voted on, and approved
Planning committee meets 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at Central Office

IX. District Reports

District 12: Hosting lots of workshops — doing great!
District 17: 43rd Bayouland Jamboree is November 10–11 in Houma
District 18 (Keith): Will host a party in Gretna; working on fall dates
District 19 (Ally): District filling some open positions; come to District meeting 4th Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm at Unity Church
District 20: Not present
Districts 21/23 (Will): Sponsorship 101 workshop — September 10, 3–6pm at 1313 Esplanade Ave (St. Anna’s); Neckbreakers 10th group anniversary this weekend was a success
