Meeting called to order at 6:34pm with the Serenity Prayer

Income only slightly below budget across the board

Central Office — Colyn (subbing for Ken)

Expect some extra closed days

Board approved closure December 23–26 and December 29 – January 2*

DAAY in the Park

DAAY in the Park will happen again next year.

District Reports

District 18: Woodland and Moving Forward have dinner scheduled in February; other events coming up later in the year
District 20: New Year’s Eve is a go; new folks coming in; 3 Legs having Annual Speak n Eat February 25, 7–9pm

Open Discussion — Increasing Participation

Some meetings hold a speak n eat quarterly
Will do a Q&A once a quarter about service and participation
Creating a vacuum can motivate people; getting people involved with food also helps
The more people know about what’s available, the more they get involved — stop relying on acronyms, spell things out
Remind members that Central Office keeps the hotline going and always needs volunteers

*After chatting with Central Office staff it was decided to keep the Office open those Fridays and Saturdays. Central Office will now be closed December 25 & 26 and January 1 & 2. The hotline will remain open and available.
